The Humanity of Engineering

When the The Bobby B. Lyle School of Engineering at SMU launched the Hunter and Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity, they asked UTILITY to develop communication elements that helped define and strengthen their introductory message.

In collaboration with the Integrated Marketing Group at SMU, UTILITY was able introduce a visual direction that was an extension of the Lyle School campaign but focused enough to align with the unique mission of the institute. View the work.

About the Institute
The Hunter and Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity aims to shift the foundation of poverty through action and empowerment, not charity. The Hunt Institute strives to bring together the most talented minds from fields including engineering, science, business, international development and global economics, and combine their efforts with market forces to improve the standard of living for those living in extreme poverty. They focus on access to clean water; creating affordable shelter, including design justice for the marginalized; hygiene education and promotion; access to energy; and meeting basic infrastructure needs.
